On Sunday 24th April Sparta Praha welcomed Viktoria Plzeň at Letná stadium and the match was highly exprected by the whole football public. Treated Michal Ďuriš surprisingly appeared back in the starting line-up.

The opening chance of the match was shot by Ondřej Vaněk but he did not get the ball over the goalkeeper Bičík. Viktoria were successful in picking up the rebounded balls. One of those was on 10 minutes when Kolář run with the ball on the left side and Kovařík crossed it to Milan Petržela, however, he was fouled by Petr Jiráček and the referee Zelinka directed a penalty kick. Ondřej Vaněk executed it excellently and Viktoria were in lead – 0:1! Soon after that Kozáčik was hot on the other side as well but Sparta did not use any of to goal chances and the score remained.

Intensified pace of the game calmed down in the mid of the half and the fans could see only sort of indications of the actions. On 26 minutes the referee blew a penalty kick for Sparta, too. Dočkal went to execute it but missed the target. A few minutes later Konaté dribbled among the defenders and passed the ball to Krejčí but his goal was not counted for standing off-side.

On 39 minutes Milan Petržela rushed to the goalkeeper but Bičík was ready as well as two minutes later against Kolář´s attempt. The home team tried to put Viktoria under pressure but they were not able to directly threaten the goal. Viktoria won the 1st half 0:1.

Sparta entered the 2nd half in a more active way than Viktoria. Their offensive attempts were stopped by Viktoria´s defensive line but they were also shown some yellow cards, on 52 minutes Daniel Kolář. Then the game moved rather near the midfield but the crucial moment happened on 65 minutes when Matějovský and Lafata made the goalkeeper busy but neither of them change the score.

On 67 minutes Viktoria Plzeň used their first substitution. Jan Kopic replaced Milan Petržela. On 71 minutes Matúš Kozáčik had tough moments but he rebounded Juliš´s shot and then he saved the ball in a chaotic situation. On 78 minutes Sparta had another unpleasant attack but Krejčí´s attempt was not as he planned.

On 78 minutes Michal Ďuriš was substituted by Michael Krmenčík. He scored two incredible goals in a few minutes and secured Viktoria´s win over Sparta 0:3!

Viktoria won the 15th match in a row and moreover they increased their leading for 11 points at the top position in the standings.
