He came, he saw, he conquered. Or more precisely he scored two goals. Michael Krmenčík run on the pitch 11 minutes before the end of the match, nevertheless, he still was the hero of the day. During his short play he scored two very important goals and decided the final result of the match 3:0 for Viktoria.
„I have to evaluate the match very positively. We won and I scored two goals. So quite a nice evening,“ Krmenčík says. He´s had his elbow injured last days. „I felt a bit of pain in that but during the match like this a man doesn´t notice it. Now I´m feeling just great.“
The initial plan was neither Michal Ďuriš nor Michael Krmenčík should have participated in the game, however, both forwards came and played an important part in the match. „I knew Míša would join the game from the very beginning but luckily wouldn´t stay for the whole match. So I sort of expected I´d jump in, too. That I´d score two goals, it was of course above the plan,“ a 23-years-old striker smiles. „I´m deeple moved, I can´t say anything else about that. Even as a young boy I always wished to play for Viktoria´s A-team and score. Today I helped to decide the match against Sparta. I´m full of wonderful emotions.“
Viktoria has four more matches ahead and they need to gain 1 point to reach the champion´s trophy. However, he does not want to even hear about the celebrations. „We only have one goal and it´s the title. We´ll stay focus until we get it. Nothing better in a football live can happen.“
