Viktoria tied 1:1 with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the first match during Westendorf trainings. The match was evaluated by Viktoria´s coach Roman Pivarník.

How satisfied are you with the first match in Austria?

„We´re not totally happy. The match was influenced by the weather. The rain was really heavy and because of bad terrain our combination stagnated. We created some chances and it´s a shame we didn´t score more goals.“

The opponent equalized the score in the last minute...

„It´s a pity we didn´t keep our leading and received this last minute goal.“

Were not you afraid of the players´ health? The terrain was really tough.

„Actually yes, I was a bit. The game was hard. The pitch is great here but the rain quite ruined it. I´m glad nobody was hurt.“

Did you observe some things in Viktoria´s game you ask for the players to do?

„Definitely yes, we had some elements I´d like them to play. Most of the players played the whole match, which is not easy under heavy training. Nevertheless, we already need to get some match discipline so they have to play for 90 minutes. We´ll keep going.“

What is on programme now?

„On Wednesday we´ll have a combined training. On Thursday we´ll have two training units and on Friday the next match.“
