Viktoria Plzeň played the 6th round of the ePojisteni.cz League in Liberec. They have been successful at the stadium U Nisy for recent years. Viktoria were last defeated there in 2007 and they wanted to prolong their winning streak.

The coach Roman Pivarník did not change the starting line-up in comparison with the last match against Slavia Praha. The last new reinforcement from Zlín Tomáš Poznar appeared on the bench.

On 12 minutes Sýkora first had an effort on goal. On 22 minutes Jan Kopic kicked a corner, the defence rebounded it to Jakub Hromada who shot on goal and it was excellent. He could not even wish a more amazing goal for Viktoria – 0:1. The rest of the 1st half were rather about fighting that about football beauty.

After the break Jakub Hromada had to be substituted by a new Albanian reinforcement Ergys Kace who first participate in the game. Viktoria possessed the ball more and even though Liberec were more active at first, the second goal was scored by Viktoria again. On 75 minutes Jan Kopic passed the ball to 6-yard box to Michal Ďuriš who scored – 0:2. On 90 minutes the match was dramatized. Baroš passed the ball to Komličenko who placed it behind the goalkeeper Kozáčik – 1:2. The last two minutes of the match did not offer any goal chance so Viktoria brought all 3 points from Liberec and won there 2:1.
