Viktoria Plzeň beat Hradec Králové 4:1, the half-time result was 3:0. The coach Roman Pivarník evaluated his team performance positively.

„We had quite little time to prepare ourselves for this match after the Thursday one but we made it. I like Hradec´s game, they defend well, try to combine and play attractive football. Our players were careful about their strong sides, combined well and prepared actions for the wings. We scored fantastic 4 goals and we could add more. The players who were given their chance played great,“ the coach says after the match. Viktoria jumped up to the top of the standings after this match. „We don´t want to care about other teams, we focus just on ourselves and our results. We wanted to make our match. We don´t want to count the scored goals or anything else. We are where we want to be and we want to continue in that,“ Pivarník adds.

Viktoria´s coach gave a chance to many players who have not been so busy recently. „The match was of high pace on both sides. It was obvious that our players are tired after Thursday. Both opponents played an open game, which is exhausting. The guys who were relaxed were given a chance and played well,“ he says. One of the new faces in the starting line-up was Michael Krmenčík. „When I told Krmenčík he was gonna play today he replied he´d try to score a goal. I told him he´d score two so he made it. Milan Petržela also played an excellent match. He works hard and he deserves to be in a national team,“ he closes.
