Viktoria did not make it on Saturday evening and they tied with Slovácko 1:1 when on 86 minutes Lukáš Hejda equalized the score. The coach Roman Pivarník could not find many positives on the match.
„One point from Slovácko is not enough for us. We conceded a goal after a free kick, we should have defended it better as well as we should be more effective in the final phase. At the end we had to play in 9 men, which did not help us much,“ Roman Pivarník describes. Viktoria finally equalized the score and they put their opponent under pressure. „We pushed them long time but they blocked themselves in their 18-yard box, the space was thick and there were simply too many players to go through. Slovácko have players who are rough, we had some chances but we couldn´t make it,“ the coach adds.
During the match Roman Hubník and Radim Řezník had to leave the pitch because of some healthy complications. „Radim Řezník has a lacerated wound on his leg, Hubník shaken and sick but we still don´t know the diagnosis. I believe we´ll be complete until Thursday to play the Europa League match in the strongest line-up as possible,“ Pivarník closes.
