On 3 minutes of the game Paredes touched Kozáčik´s crossbar and soon after that Salah received the ball and was very close to scoring but the goalkeeper Kozáčik rebounded it off the goal. The Italian team was definitely better but Viktoria was dangerous in the offense as well. On 53 minutes Zeman passed a sharp ball in the penalty area but Krmenčík was too short for that. On 61 minutes Plzeň did not watch Džeko again and he sent Roma in lead 2-1.

After 2 minutes the coach Pivarník made the first substitution and Kopic was replaced by Ďuriš who immediately participated in the game but his rough shot went off the goal. On 75 minutes Viktoria substituted Krmenčík for Marek Bakoš and he also quickly joined the game but his attempt was saved by the goalkeeper.
