Viktoria Plzeň drew 2-2 in the first match of the Spanish trainings against the German team SV Wehen Wiesbaden. They turned the score in the 2nd half but the opponent made it to equalized before the end.

„We entered the match with a lack of one player because Tomáš Hořava was ill and we hadn´t got enough midfielders. We had to change the system for each half-time in order for both line-ups to be equal,“ the coach Pivarník describes what happened before the match. „Our opponent had a starting line-up, which was substituted before the end. We approached the match that we had a rough training in the morning and then we wanted to use two different line-ups for both halves. It´s a shame Wiesbaden only twice hit the gate and we conceded two goals. We still need too many chances to score a goal,“ Roman Pivarník analyzes the match.

Our opponent presented themselves with a physical game style. „We have to get used to it. Our opponents will not want to let us play. I noticed good points in our game but we´re still too tired to finish all the balls,“ the coach thinks.

His team have another portion of training in the following days. „We go on in our programme. Tomorrow we´re gonna have two trainings, then a training and a match. We want friendly matches for each player to play one half. We can focus on some things within the trainings but the better understand them during the game itself. We´ll continue doing this,“ he closes.
