Viktoria entered the match very actively and they had 4 corners during the first 3 minutes. Miloš Kratochvíl appeared in a big chance but Pfleger rebounded the ball off the goal. Plzeň put their opponent under pressure and they had hardly any chance to be dangerous. On 29 minutes Martin Zeman played a free kick but the goalkeeper Pfleger was ready again as well as against Petržela´s attempt. 8 minutes later Viktorians finally got in lead when Marek Bakoš passed the ball in the 6-yard box and the defender Jaroslav Levý kicked it into the own goal – 1:0. Immediately after this chance Martin Zeman had an effort on goal, however, the goalkeeper Pfleger saved his attempt. At the end of the half Marek Bakoš beat the goalkeeper and increased Viktoria´s leading to 2-0.

Pavel Vrba sent a completely different line-up to the 2nd half and Lukáš Pfeifer was the captain of the 2nd half. The 2nd half did not offer much of the game, on 67 minutes Jan Suchan shot the ball above the crossbar and later Václav Pilař also had an effort on goal, however, it was stopped by an upright. 10 minutes before the end of the match the goalkeeper Hrabačka, who substituted Pfleger, rebounded Lukáš Pfeifer´s shot. Nothing interesting happened until the end of the match.
