The third friendly match before the start of 2017/18 season was played against Ústí nad Labem at the home stadium in Luční street. The previous matches´ results between the two teams were 2:2, 4:4 and 2:2. This time Viktoria won.

Ústí n. L.: 1st half-time: Kotěra – Zeman, Pimpara, Vaněk, Šnirc – Martykán, Richter (C) – Kunc, Výborný, Jindráček – Matějka. 2nd half-time: Sikorsky – Gilián, Seidl, Peterka, Šnirc – Jelínek, Miskovič – Zoubek, Heřman, Procházka – Kacafírek (C).

Michael Krmenčík opened the match on 5 minutes by a great chance but his header went off the goal. A few seconds later the striker was more accurate and scored – 1-0. On 12 minutes the score was equal. Lukáš Matějka passed the ball to Daniel Richter who gave no chance to the goalkeeper Bolek. Marek Bakoš could turn the leading to Plzeň but his header was saved by Jakub Koděra. Soon after that Jan Kopic beat his man and added the second goal of his team – 2-1. On 29 minutes the score changed again to 3-1 when Martin Zeman passed the ball to Michael Krmenčík. Immediately after this goal Krmenčík was fouled in the 18-yard box and Viktoria were given a penalty kick – Marek Bakoš scored to 4-1. This was the half-time result.

Viktoria changed their line-up for the 2nd half. The goalkeeper Dominik Sváček was checked by Dominik Procházka but the goalkeeper was careful and stopped him. On the other side, Milan Petržela who was stopped by the goalkeeper Sikorský. Later Procházka had an effort on goal but Řezník defended him well. On 62 minutes Řezníček crossed the ball to Daniel Kolář who increased the score to 5-1. On 75 minutes added the next goal to 6-1. 6 minutes later Živulič passed an excellent ball behind the defence to Milan Petržela and the result was 7-1. On 88 minutes Daniel Kolář cooperated with Jakub Řezníček who finished the score to 8-1.
