Viktoria Plzeň took 1 point from the match against Sparta Praha for a tie 2-2. They increased their leading in the standings for 5 points.

Our game was poor during the first 20 minutes and Sparta was good. In the remaining 70 minutes our game was of high quality,“ Pavel Vrba evaluates the match. „To turn the score against Sparta from 0-2 is not an easy task. We showed our character and this moment will kick us to upcoming matches. It´s positive we could equalize the score,“ he adds.

On 27 minutes Pavel Vrba had to make the first substitution when Milan Petržela was injured and had to leave the pitch. „Martin Zeman coming on the pitch instead of Milan Petržela boosted the game. He was one of those who gave our game more, he combined well,“ Vrba says.

It might be surprising that Michael Krmenčík played in the starting line-up but on top of that he stayed on the pitch 75 minutes after his injury. „I would lie if I said he was 100% fit. But he believed in himself and we believed him. That´s why he played,“ Vrba reveals.
