On this Friday Viktorians will enter the new season. They are awaiting sharp battles not only at the domestic scene but at most prestigious European stadiums of the UEFA Champions League as well. They will represent their city in the new kit that links tradition, elegance and necessary functionality. A group of people around popular youtouber and parkourist Tary was also involved in the new kit presentation.

Waiting is over. A new kit for all Viktorians´ hearts is here.
It is unique again, it harmonizes traditional colours, style and maximum comfort.
Since the very first concept until the final product PUMA´s designers worked on it for more over six months.
Viktoria´s players as well as the club´s representatives were also involved.
And how does it look like? Viktorians, let´s look!

Brand new Viktorians´ kit can be introduced by three words: elegance – tradition - functionality.

In comparison with the last years the home kit underwent a significant makeover. It is all designed in the polo shirt style; it has a decent blue collar and small buttons. It is right this polo shirt style, which adds the new football shirt a necessary elegance that characterizes what the whole club and all its fans cannot wait for – the third participation in the elite company of the UEFA Champion League, which is famous right for its gracefulness.

Elegance is, of course, connected with tradition. The tradition bearers are mainly the club colours red and blue, which are designed in horizontal stripes with regular blending of both colours.

Maximum functionality and players´ comfort were not forgotten. It is again a combination of materials based on polyester and technology dryCell that draws sweat away from the skin and helps a footballer keep dry and comfortable during games.

Viktorians will again proudly represent their general partner Doosan Škoda Power.

Viktorians, who themselves participated in the designing process, are excited about the new kit. The way from the first concept to the final product took 6 months.

“I like the shirt with the collar, it´s an element we haven´t had here for a long time and it looks really interesting,” midfielder Jan Kopic confirms. “We all are always interested in the new kit look and even this time it turned out well to design a very unique piece and I can say for the whole team that we´re satisfied. And it suits me,” defender and Pilsen patriot David Limberský is smiling.

“We believe the new kit will be successful and we´re glad we can support Viktoria at the domestic scene as well as in UEFA Champions League matches,” Jan Sochor, the general manager of PUMA for Eastern Europe, adds.

Viktoria Plzeň chose a very fresh way of introducing the new kit. During night from Sunday to Monday a group around the youtuber and parkourist Tary met at the stadium and afterwards they went in the downtown. At 10 places they sprayed a basic theme of the football kit, however, it has not been revealed as a whole yet. During Monday fans took photos with the kit and competed for some pieces of it that were presented on Tuesday morning.

The away and the third football kit also underwent a makeover and the goalkeepers will wear the new kits, too. "We´ll introduce all the sets in the upcoming days. Now I can reveal the third kit will be nontraditional as we promised a year ago with yellow-and-green combination, which was very popular," the PR manager of the club Václav Hanzlík said.
