On 7 minutes Viktorians first got in a chance when Aleš Čermák shot from the edge of the penalty area but he missed the target. Moments later the action was stopped by assistant referee.

In the rest of the 1st half Plzeň possessed the ball for most of the time, however, Zlín did not let them in a dangerous chance. Řezník, Hubník or Hrošovský had an effort on goal but everytime they missed the target as well as Limberský right before the break.

Zlín rushed very actively in the 2nd half. At first Pablo Podio shot from the 18-yard box but his shot was destroyed by Matúš Kozáčik as well as the rebounded ball afterwards. Moment later Džafič kicked from a very promising position but even this time Vrba's team was well supported by the goalkeeper.

On 60th minute of the game Pavel Vrba had to substitute injured Tomáš Hořava who was replaced by Roman Procházka. He immediately participated in the game and shot on goal. Soon after that Krmenčík headed the ball towards the goal but he hit only the crossbar.

Finally Michael Krmenčík attempted well on goal. As well as in the first home match he rushed to help the team with a late goal. This time he took advantage of Zeman and Procházka co-operating on the right side. After a centre pass in front of Zlín's goal he placed the rebounded ball behind the goal line.

Zlín tried to equalize the score et the end of the match but Viktorians saved the result even though Kopic had to leave the pitch after being shown second yellow card.

Martin Zeman's Commentary

"Zlín came to defend presicely. They had 5 players in defense and it was hard to get in chances," Martin Zeman evaluates the match. "We had problems with it in the 1st half, we couldn't make any bigger chance. In the 2nd half we relied on them making some mistakes. It happened so we're so glad for 3 points," Viktoria's midfielder says.
