Striker Jakub Řezníček leaves Viktoria Plzeň for currently last team of the Belgian league KSC Lokeren that faced Viktoria in qualifying round of the Europa League in 2012.

Řezníček transferred to Vikoria in 2017 from Zbrojovka Brno. Since then he completed 22 league matches for Pavel Vrba’s team with 2 goals scored and 12 matches in European cups, he also spent 6 months in Sigma Olomouc on loan where he scored 6 goals in 12 matches.

"In Viktoria I had a fantastic time full of team success. It’s high competition here in the team and I want to play. Furthermore, this is my first contract abroad since playing in Slovakia, which is something I always wanted to try. That’s why I chose Lokeren," 30-years-old Jakub Řezníček said.

"We thank Jakub for his hard work he's done for Plzeň. I think he has a chance to break through in Belgium and help Lokeren save the league. I wish him to have a success over there,“ Viktoria's CEO Adolf Šádek added.

Good luck, Řezňa!
