The hosts in front of the full house and under hot atmosphere rushed into the match as a hurricane and could lead since the 2nd minute, however, Guilherme’s ball rebounded after corner only to Hruška’s upright. Viktoria’s goalkeeper was busy moments later when rebounding off Miguel Angel Guerrera’s header. Giannise Masourase’s attempt was stopped by Hruška, too.

Viktorians survived the initial pressure of their opponent and started to get in the pace of the match. The first attempt was produced by Joel Kayamba when crossing the ball to Jan Kopic, he passed it to Patrik Hrošovský in the box but the ball bounced to corner. This was an amazing action!

The first goal between these two teams was scored in the fourth half-time in fact. Guielrmo was given a chance from Valbuena after corner and Olympiacos were leading. The situation got even worse. First, Guerrero added second goal and later Radim Řezník rebounded the ball into his own goal. In a while the score was 3-0 for the home team.

Ruben Semedo finished a very poor half. Viktorians lost 4-0 and are heading to the third qualifying round of UEL. The first team they are going to meet is Royal Antwerp.

Ondřej Mihálik’s Commentary

“Olympiacos were stronger in everything. We discussed their strongest side – free kicks – but finally conceded three goals after them. It‘s unbelievable, they totally deserved to win, they were better in all skills,” Mihálik admitted. “We’re sorry we didn‘t go on but no there‘s nothing else than UEL, we have to do our maximum,” he closed.
