The Victorians were also victorious in the third preparatory match. After the 1:0 win over Prague Dukla, assistant coach Marek Bakoš evaluated the preparation so far.

Marku, what did today´s game with Dukla show?

We tried some things again, some new bonds of new players who are getting used to it. It was definitely an interesting game against a good opponent. We saw good things in the first half, created two or three clear goal chances, then didn´t concede a penalty. The gameplay was probably better than in the second half. But even there we had some transitions, but we didn´t score any more goals.

You mentioned the new players, how do you rate them so far?

More or less they bring what we expected from them. You can feel that they are in a new team, in a new environment, with new roles. And we still have time and more games to fine-tune everything. They´ve been feeling each other out, who passes where and when, the rushes and other details.

How do you rate the two weeks of preparation so far?

We can be satisfied with half of the preparation, everything is going according to plan. We have played three games in them, which showed us good things.

On Monday we leave for Spain, what will the squad look like for the game camp?

We will evaluate all these things now, we have two days to do that and we will focus on that. We expect that some small narrowing down will take place, but we will discuss and consider everything calmly now. We want as many players as possible to come to training camp with us, be complete and continue to prepare well for the season. All players who had some minor injuries in the last few days should also be available to us.
