Soon after that the home team had to substitute the first player, Simon Deli was replaced by Kúdela on 10th minute of the game.

The game was fluent until 35th minute when Eden saw things. Martin Zeman first played by his hand in the 6-yard box so the referee Ardeleanu directed a penalty kick after a discussion with a video referee. Hušbauer kicked it but Matúš Kozáčik rebounded it out, however, later when Hubník tried to kick the ball far away he hit Sýkora as well and was shown the second yellow card. Hubník had to leave the pitch for the red card.

Slavia had the second penalty kick for the previous situation and Miroslav Stoch went to kick it. He aimed it to the same place as Hušbauer before and increased the score to 2-0. Viktorians entered the 2nd half with a lack of 2 goals and 1 player.

On the other side Hušbauer shot on goal but Kozáčik saved his attempt by rebounding it in front of himself but he got a hit by Tecl and the ball finally travelled behind the goal line, nevertheless, the referee did not count the goal for off-side position.

However, the home team finally increase their leading to 3-0 when Hušbauer passed the ball to Zmrhal who quickly scored. In extra time Slavia adjusted the final score to 4-0 when Tecl centred the ball to the penalty area and Tomáš Souček scored the last goal of the match.

Pavel Vrba's Commentary

In the coach's opinion, the quickly conceded goal totally infuenced the whole match. "Of, course, it's bad. The whole development of the match was influenced by the penalty kick and the red card. Slavia is a team that can take advantage of superiority. I explained it to the players during the break but Slavia did not let us to anything and they only confirmed the result," Vrba regretted. "It's an experienced team."
