We announce today that Pavel Vrba, his assistant Zdeněk Bečka and a goalkeeping coach Martin Ticháček have been relieved of their duties and leave the club for Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad.

"Pavel Vrba reached a lot of success in his second spell with Viktoria. He won the Czech title, qualified for the Round of 32 in the UEFA Europa League from the UEFA Champions League group stage. We have a lot of great memories again," said thankfully general manager Adolf Šádek. "Half a year before his contract expires we made a decision together about parting our ways. Pavel had a lucrative offer from Ludogorets and he decided to accept it."

"We are very grateful to Pavel for everything he has done for Viktoria. Without a doubt he was a big part of the club´s successes. He is and will be forever a welcomed guest here at Plzeň. We wish him the best of luck with his new team," added club´s president Tomáš Paclík.

Pavel Vrba said his good bye to the team after 1-1 draw with Teplice. "I thanked to everyone in the club. I would also like to thank all the fans for their support. I will always remember my time spent in Viktoria, but right now I just feel it´s the right time to make a change. I wish Viktoria good luck," said Vrba, who will now manage 8-time Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad.

56-year-old Přerov native coached Viktoria Plzeň in 347 matches. 70 of them were in European competitions (UCL and UEL), 242 of them in the Czech first league, where he gained 499 points for Plzeň. That includes 148 wins, most of all coaches with one team in the history of Czech league.
