Viktoria Plzeň announces a new defensive player. Left back Libor Holík is coming from Jablonec on a six-month loan.

Twenty-three year old Libor Holík comes from Jablonec on a six-month loan. He joined Viktoria´s training on Thursday and will be available to coach Michal Bílek for Saturday´s league match at České Budějovice.

"We have quite a lot of injured players in the defensive ranks, so I am glad that we managed to complete the loan of a very good and talented player, who is ready to jump into the matches immediately," said Adolf Šádek, the general director of the club.

The head coach Michal Bílek is of course also satisfied with the arrival of the new reinforcement. "We have met with Libor already during his engagement in Zlín, I know him and I know what kind of player we have acquired. He is a very good alternative for the edge of the defence or midfield," said the coach.

Libor Holík has played 121 league games and scored 7 goals at the age of twenty-three.

He has also made a number of starts in European Cups and youth national teams. Holík represented the Czech Republic at the last U21 EURO and also played at the European Championships in the U17 and U19 categories.
