The 17-year-old all-rounder is having a good season. She has been a stable part of Viktoria´s women´s A-team in her youth and is also regularly called up to the national U19 team, with whom she will compete at the WU19 European Championships in the Czech Republic. She will take part in this event together with her former coach Pavel Hudeček.

Last weekend women´s under-19 national team completed their preparation for the championship with a training camp in Pilsen. "The girls completed five training units and played a model match, where our aim was to bring them as close as possible to the high tempo that awaits us at the European Championship and to show them that they are capable of withstanding it," said Pavel Hudeček, Viktoria Plzeň´s youth coach, who also serves as an assistant to the national WU19 team.

The Czech hopes will have a difficult time, as they will literally face the European elite in the group. In the first three matches they will face France, Spain and Italy. "Of course we will go into the matches with our heads held high and we want to take on these opponents, but it must be clear to anyone who looks at the composition of our group that we will be challenging the really top teams," says Hudeček. "At the moment we know that we can´t beat these opponents on a regular basis, maybe sometime when women´s football in the Czech Republic develops more, but certainly not now. Anyway, we can be unpleasant and create chances. Only the matches will show everything," continues the experienced coach, who has had the only Viktoria representative in the national team.

"Jarka is one of the most honest players I have seen in the short time I have been in women´s football. She has great qualities in terms of fitness, speed or work rate. She has a little bit of technique, but she´s been working on herself and has made huge strides in that regard over the last year. I would like her to get some interesting engagements, she is an extremely honest footballer who everyone will want in the team because she is reliable and always tries to do her best," concludes Hudeček. Pavlíčková has played nine games for the national team so far, scoring two goals. Her participation in the tournament will be her career highlight so far.
