After qualifying for the Europa Conference League, Viktoria Plzeň has recorded another significant success on the European stage. Raphael Landthaler, a member of the board of directors of FC Viktoria Plzeň, was elected in Berlin as a representative of the third subdivision of the international organization ECA (European Club Association).

The ECA, the European Club Association, which was founded in 2008, is a prestigious association of almost five hundred football clubs in Europe. Its aim is to protect clubs at international level, to create a suitable position for them and to strengthen their position. The ECA seeks to ensure that clubs decide the direction of football. The individual members of the association also share their knowledge together to advance the level of football.

Raphael Landthaler was elected to the ECA board as a representative of Subdivision 3. "I am extremely happy to be elected and delighted to serve on the ECA board, which is dedicated to the future of European football. I would like to thank the clubs for their trust. It is a real honour for me to represent our club in this way on the international stage. From all the clubs I felt that Viktoria Plzeň has a very good image and this contributed to the fact that I got enough votes," said Raphael Landthaler after his election as a new member of the ECA board.

The ECA board includes representatives of major European clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, AS Rome, Arsenal, Inter, Bayern Munich and others.

This success on the European diplomatic field is a great honour for the club and we congratulate Raphael.
