Great news for Victorian fans. A detailed examination confirmed no serious injuries to Jan Sýkora and the player should resume team training after a short break.

The Victorian midfielder had to make an early substitution in the first half of the preliminary match against Žižkov. In the coming hours he underwent a thorough medical examination, which did not confirm the fears of a serious injury.

"Honza Sýkora will have a more restful regime this week and will be under the care of the club´s physiotherapists. After that, nothing should prevent him from rejoining the training and leaving with the team for the training camp in Benidorm," informs club press officer Václav Hanzlík.
