Twenty-two-year-old midfielder Alexandr Sojka is leaving Viktoria Plzeň for Hradec Králové.
The young midfielder came through the Victorian academy, played in the red and blue jersey and the youth Champions League. Subsequently, he went on loan to the second league Táborsk, with whom he played a barrage double match for the top competition. Last summer, he won a place in Miroslav Koubek´s first team, made seventeen league starts and added more on the international stage in the Europa League. Now his new club is FC Hradec Králové.
"Sasa Sojka is a very talented footballer, as evidenced by the fact that he played in the recent European Twenty-Eleven Championship. However, at the moment he would have a very difficult position with us, the competition for his position is high and at his young age he needs to play regularly and gain experience. We agreed that it makes sense for his career growth to be in Hradec and we agreed on a transfer," said Daniel Kolář, Viktoria´s sport director.
"I am grateful to Viktoria for giving me the chance to take a peek at big football, besides the league I enjoyed our great journey through the Europa League. Of course, I keep my fingers crossed for the boys and the whole club, but now I have a new challenge ahead of me and I will want to make my mark," said Alexandr Sojka.
