Defender Svetozar Marković is leaving Viktoria Plzeň and transferring to Slovan Bratislava, with whom he signed a contract today.

The Serbian defender joined Viktoria in the summer of 2024 as a replacement for Robin Hranáč. He played a total of 50 matches in the red and blue jersey on the domestic and European scene, scoring twice. Now he is saying goodbye to Doosan Arena and will wear the jersey of Slovan Bratislava.

"Svetozar Marković has provided quality service to our club for almost two years. He fulfilled the reason why he came to Viktoria at the time. However, we have now decided to go a different way, bringing in new players to the defense, and have therefore given him permission to transfer. We wish him every success in his new engagement," said the club´s sporting director Martin Vozábal.

Marky, we wish you all the best at your new club!
