Viktoria suffered a 3–2 defeat against Olomouc in the eighth round of the Chance Liga. The visitors scored Plzeň’s first goal themselves before Babucarr Faal netted his first goal in red and blue late on. However, Viktoria were unable to find an equaliser.

The visitors kicked off the eighth-round Chance Liga fixture, which was held as part of the Sport Without Waste initiative. In the second minute, Gabriel won the ball and drove forward. He appealed for a foul, but the referee allowed play to continue. Four minutes later, Sojka tried to pick out Gabriel with a cross, but a defender diverted the ball behind for a corner. Lawal headed wide a minute later.

Viktoria put Olomouc under pressure from the opening minutes, but it was the visitors from Haná who struck first. Dweh allowed Sejk to control the ball before he laid it off to Ghali, who fired past Wiegele. In the 27th minute, the Plzeň goalkeeper was called into action again, denying Sejk’s effort from the right.

Viktoria found the equaliser in the 34th minute. Gabriel attempted to send a cross into the box, but Sylla deflected the ball into his own net. Lawal tried his luck shortly afterwards, but his effort was blocked. Olomouc regained the lead in the 41st minute when Tkáč was given space on the right and finished past Wiegele.

During first-half stoppage time, the referee reviewed an incident inside the penalty area with the help of VAR and awarded a penalty. Červ stepped up but fired over the crossbar, meaning Olomouc went into the break with a 2–1 lead.

Červ had the first opportunity after the restart, shooting with his weaker foot but missing the target. Memić then tested Koutný, who was alert to make the save. In the 51st minute, Gabriel once again surged down the right and looked for a teammate arriving from deep, but everyone overran his pass.

Olomouc struck again immediately afterwards. Sejk rose to meet Hadaš’s cross and headed past Wiegele. In the 74th minute, Panoš tried to find Kabongo with a pass, but the forward was in an offside position. Eleven minutes later, Babucarr Faal scored his first goal in red and blue to reduce the deficit to one.

Plzeň pushed hard to break down the Olomouc defence in the closing stages but were unable to find an equaliser. The visitors survived the late pressure, leaving Viktoria empty-handed.
