In the last league match before the international break, Viktoria Plzeň traveled to Liberec, where they drew 1-1 with Slovan. Tomáš Ladra scored for Viktoria, netting his first competitive goal in the red and blue jersey.

The match started actively on both sides. Both teams focused primarily on long passes behind the defense, which were accompanied by many personal duels often judged as illegal. After just ten minutes, the referee had already issued two yellow cards. After one of the fouls, Viktoria had a set piece, but Tomáš Ladra's direct kick only hit the wall. In the 22nd minute, Denis Višinský had to be substituted after remaining on the ground and was carried off the pitch on a stretcher.

Tomáš Ladra opened the scoring in the 29th minute when he took advantage of a back pass from Matěj Vydra and beat Tomáš Koubek with a precise shot to the post. This was his first goal in a competitive match in the red and blue jersey. Neither team created any significant chances before the break, and the teams went into the locker rooms with Viktoria leading 1-0.

At the start of the second half, goalkeeper Martin Jedlička kept the visitors in the game with a great save to prevent the equalizer. A moment later, Matěj Vydra had a chance at the other end, but his header went high over the bar. In the 65th minute, the home side managed to equalize. Jedlička made the initial save, but he was unable to stop the second shot that came shortly after.

The pace of the game then picked up and the ball moved quickly from one half to the other. There were chances at both ends, but none of them ended in a goal. The match thus ended in a 1-1 draw.
