Head coach Miroslav Koubek answered the journalists´ questions at the post-match press conference.

How do you evaluate this high victory?

It didn´t look like it at first. We had a horrible start, we were still sleeping and Zlín had a goal chance right away, Jindra Stanek held us there. We woke up more slowly, but relatively quickly, because we scored a goal in about the fifth minute, that helped us. The red card made the game easier for us, it was a crucial moment, we won´t doubt it. Outnumbered, our team started to show good sports form and probably more game maturity. We have good combination players, attacking players and those things were visible there. We were in chances, we were productive and we were shooting well.

You made an unconventional four-man rotation. What was that about?

4-1 at halftime, two quick goals in the second half by Raffi Durusinmi. After that, we switched it up, the level of our play logically dropped. I liken it to games in preparation when you change half the team or the whole eleven. It´s always a bit weaker afterwards, let´s say, but the game was under control and we still scored one goal and then I would agree that we brought it to a comfortable end.

How did you deal with the national break?

The national break came in handy because, I agree with you, so many players didn´t leave. The biggest question mark was how Sampson Dweh would return from the African tournament for Liberia. He flew to Morocco, had an earthquake there, then came back, flew to Ghana and played a friendly. He was still playing on Tuesday, so we were a little worried. We were together, that answered that and we were finally able to get some training in after six weeks of playing qualifiers and England weeks and I think we came back in relatively good shape.

Were you not worried about the state the players would come back from the national team meeting in?

You´re always worried after a break. Those games don´t play well, you´re a bit uncertain how it´s going to shake you up. We were on a roll and I´m glad we built on what we did before the national break.

Has a team led by you ever won with a similar result?

I was thinking about that when I went to the press conference. At league level, League One, League Two, I remember winning 5-0 away, I won´t say the opponents, but not seven goals.
