Martin Vozábal, who most recently worked in Tábor, becomes the new sporting director of FC Viktoria Plzeň. Daniel Kolář remains in the sporting management structure.
Forty-seven-year-old Martin Vozábal is a former league player who took on a managerial role after ending his professional career. He served as sports director for Dynamo České Budějovice, for example, and subsequently held the same position at second division club Táborsko. He is now becoming the new sports director of FC Viktoria Plzeň.
"In Martin, we are gaining a very experienced person who identifies with our vision and will contribute to the club´s sporting development in the coming years," said Adolf Šádek, CEO and chairman of the board.
"Viktoria´s offer is a great challenge for me. Actually, when it came, I didn´t have much to think about and I gladly accepted it. I look forward to working with everyone and am throwing myself into the job right away," said Martin Vozábal, who has now officially taken up his position.
The current sporting director, Daniel Kolář, will remain part of Viktoria´s sporting management structure. "Dan has done a great job for the club and will continue to be part of it," confirmed Adolf Šádek.
