Viktoria Plzeň faced Slavia Prague in a round dedicated to war veterans. The highlight of the round ended with a 3:5 victory for the visiting team. Tomáš Ladra, Lukáš Červ, and Amar Memić scored for Viktoria.

Viktoria started the match more actively, but after just six minutes, the game had to be interrupted due to pyrotechnics in the visitors' section. Shortly thereafter, the referee interrupted the game due to thick fog and sent both teams to the locker rooms for ten minutes.

After the game resumed, Rafiu Durosinmi took a long throw-in, but Jindřich Staněk dealt with the ball. In the 15th minute, after a set piece, Tomáš Ladra kicked the ball into the penalty area, where Denis Višinský stretched for it. However, he collided hard with Staněk, had to be treated, and returned to the game after a short break.

In the 25th minute, Lukáš Provod had a dangerous shot, but Martin Jedlička made an excellent save. Two minutes later, the score changed. After winning the ball in midfield and receiving a pass on the run, Sanyang scored to make it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Viktoria responded. Tomáš Ladra took a direct free kick and equalized with a beautiful shot from distance to make it 1-1. In the 41st minute, the visitors took the lead again. The goal was initially disallowed for offside, but after review by the video referee, it was allowed to stand.

The first half was very fragmented due to frequent interruptions, and six long minutes of added time were played. In extra time, Slavia added a third goal when Chaloupek scored from a cross from the side to increase their lead to two goals. Viktoria could have reduced the deficit in the dying moments. Jedlička kicked the ball to Memić, who ran past the defender and passed to Durosinmi, but he failed to beat the defender on the goal line. The first half thus ended with Slavia leading 3-1.

Slavia started the second half more actively. In the 49th minute, Zafeiris took the ball in the middle of the pitch, shot from outside the box, and Jedlička saved his attempt. However, he was unable to react to the follow-up shot, and Slavia increased their lead to 4-1. Plzeň then tried to create chances, but they were thwarted by their opponents' solid defense. That changed in the 61st minute when, after a long throw-in by the home team, the ball ended up at the edge of the penalty area with Lukáš Červ, who reduced the deficit to 2-4 with a precise shot.

Viktoria continued to press. In the 71st minute, Ladra won the ball and crossed it from the right to Memić, who finished beautifully at the back post to make it 3-4. The home side's activity was significant, and Slavia had to defend. Five minutes later, Memić had another chance when he escaped down the right side after a cross from Souaré, but goalkeeper Staněk pushed his shot away. The home team was unable to capitalize on the ensuing corner kick.

Unfortunately for Viktoria, the visitors secured the win in the 84th minute. Zafeiris got a shot off at the edge of the box and increased the lead to 5-3 with a low shot to the post. Viktoria tried to turn the game around in the final minutes, but the visitors safely protected their lead. Sunday's big match at Doosan Arena ended with a victory for Slavia.
