Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi is leaving Viktoria Plzeň and heading for a new engagement in Serie A. His transfer to Pisa SC has just been finalized.
Rafiu Durosinmi joined Viktoria in 2023 from Karviná. He initially arrived on loan, but his transfer was soon confirmed and he quickly became one of the team´s key players.
He played a total of 86 games in the red and blue jersey, scoring 35 goals and recording 10 assists. He is now moving to the prestigious Italian league.
"Rafiu was an exceptional player. Together, we managed to overcome a difficult period when he was injured, and he managed to return to the top level. We had an agreement that if an interesting offer came along, he would be allowed to transfer, and that is now coming to fruition. The player is fulfilling his dream of playing in a top European league, and we at the club wish him every success in this new stage of his life," said Adolf Šádek, chairman of the board and CEO of the club.

"I am very grateful to Viktoria. I had a wonderful time here, got a taste of big-time football, and played in so many great matches, including those on the European stage, which I will never forget," said Rafiu Durosinmi, who would like to once again thank everyone he had the opportunity to work with during his time at Doosan Arena. "I would like to thank all my teammates, the coaching staff, and the club management. Of course, I must not forget the Viktoria fans, who always supported me. I will continue to follow Viktoria from afar and keep my fingers crossed for them," concluded Rafiu Durosinmi.
The clubs have decided not to disclose the transfer fee and other details of the transfer.
