Slovenian midfielder Adrian Zeljković will spend the spring half of the season on loan in Hungary’s top division.
Adrian Zeljković, the 23-year-old midfielder, joined FC Viktoria Plzeň six months ago from FC Spartak Trnava. This season, he has made a total of 23 appearances across domestic and European competitions. He will spend the remainder of the campaign on loan at Hungarian side MTK Budapešť.
“Following the arrivals of Patrik Hrošovský and Alexander Sojka, there is strong competition in our midfield and we wouldn’t be able to guarantee Adrian regular playing time. Together, we therefore evaluated a loan move as the ideal solution. We hope he establishes himself at MTK and plays regularly — he definitely has the quality for it,” said the club’s sporting director Martin Vozábal.
