Midfielder Jakub Chalupa is joining second-tier side Kladno on a one-year loan.
The talented 20-year-old midfielder came through the club’s academy and completed the entire pre-season with Viktoria’s first team this summer, including pre-season friendlies. He is now moving to Kladno, where he will spend a year on loan. He is thus following in the footsteps of Filip Růžička and Vítězslav Klimeš.
“This is a logical move and the next step in his career. We want him to play regularly in the second division. Just as with Filip Růžička and Vítězslav Klimeš, we have assessed Kladno as the ideal solution,” explained the club’s sporting director, Martin Vozábal.
