Twenty-one-year-old attacking midfielder James Bello will spend the upcoming season on loan at Karviná.
The talented Nigerian midfielder first appeared in Viktoria colours two years ago, featuring for the club’s B team before gaining valuable experience during a spell at Pardubice. Last season, he made two league appearances for Viktoria, featured twice in the MOL Cup, scoring once, and was also part of the team that secured a historic victory away at AS Roma. He spent the second half of the campaign on loan at second-tier side Táborsko.
Bello will continue playing in the Czech second division next season after completing a season-long loan move to Karviná. “He’s a very exciting player who continues to develop and improve. Now it’s up to him to establish himself, make a real impact and become one of the key players for his new team,” said sporting director Martin Vozábal.
