The hit of the 14th round of the Synot League was played at the Doosan Arena on Saturday 21st November and Viktoria Plzeň faced Mladá Boleslav, the team having only two points less in the total league standings. The starting line-up was a bit changed than against Ostrava and the goalkeeper Matúš Kozáčik as well as the defender David Limberský were back.

At the beginning of the match the game was mainly in the midfield and even though Viktoria possessed the ball most of the time their actions always ended on the edge of the penalty area. When Viktoria appeared in a promising position, they were stopped by the referee for being off-side. On 25 minutes the guests had an effort on goal but Aleš Čermák missed the target. 6 minutes later Jan Chramosta received the ball after a free kick and he could comfortably choose where to place it but excellent Kozáčik destroyed his attempt. Viktoria were patient in combination and tried to bite through Mladá Boleslav´s defence but they still did not have any dangerous opportunity to score. The referee Jílek finished the 1st half with goalless result.

The 2nd half was opened by Daniel Kolář´s attempt after a corner but his header was not strong enough to end behind the goal line. Two minutes later Jan Kovařík also had an effort on goal but the goalkeeper Šeda saved his shot. On 56 minutes Viktoria´s fans finally could celebrate the first goal of the match. Michal Ďuriš received a crossed ball from Jan Kovařík and he headed it in the gate – 1:0 for Plzeň! Boleslav tried hard to change the pace of the match and that could be the reason Plzeň made the first substitution an Jan Kopic was replaced by Milan Petržela. Several minutes later Viktoria substituted Michal Ďuriš for Jan Holenda. The striker was the main person of the 82th minute when being in a great goal chance but he failed in scoring so the result did not change. At the end of the match Daniel Kolář was substituted by Václav Procházka. The match was approaching its end and Viktoria beat Mladá Boleslav 1:0.
