After Luděk Pernica and Ubong Ekpai Viktoria Plzeň welcomes another signing. It is Roman Procházka, the 29-years-old universal player who arrives from Bulgarian team Levski Sofia.

A former player of Spartak Trnava left a significant trace in Bulgaria when he played in Levski Sofia for 5 years. Here he managed to equalize the club record in number of played matches as a foreign footballer (173).

Procházka is a universal player who can deal with several positions, he mostly plays as a midfielder. He has scored 5 goals during this season and in the last two seasons he scored 8 times. The 29-years-old player from Jaslovské Bohunice signed a three-years contract with Viktoria Plzeň.

„Playing in Plzeň is a huge challenge for me. I´m looking forward to fans, the city, the club…The ambitions of Viktoria are the highest every year, which suits me as well,“ Roman Procházka said. In Bulgaria he played the cup finals three times but he never won.

Procházka keeps playing for the Slovakian U21 national team and he also got in the A-team where he made his debut on 10th Aug 2011against Austria in a friendly match. In 2012 he also participated in the matches against Poland and Netherland.

Viktoria Plzeň has been only his third club so far. „We met Roman already in winter. He is very experienced player who will support our game in the midfield, which is our priority,“ the COE Adolf Šádek said to the transfer.
