Viktoria Plzeň officially confirms the transfer of Zdeněk Ondrášek. 31-year-old striker born in Strakonice. The Czech national team member comes to Pilsen from Dallas.

31-year-old forward with tons of experience from abroad is currently on his way from the USA to the Czech Republic. He will go through the health check on Tuesday and right after that, he will officially become an FC Viktoria Plzeň player.

Ondrášek started his career right here in western Bohemia in Stříbro. He played for TJ Blatná in his youth and in the summer of 2005 he left for České Budějovice. After the loan was over, the club applied the contract-option and Ondrášek became the star of the league as its best striker.

His rich years in Norway had come to an end in 2015, as he signed 3-year contract with Wisla Krakow. He played for the polish club until 2019, after that he became a free agent and signed a contract with the MLS team from Dallas. He scored his first goal in the US on the 18th of August 2019 against Montréal. Since then, he became an essential part of the team, which helped him to the Czech national Team nomination. In his first national team game, he scored a winning goal against England.
