Viktoria Plzeň, as this year´s starting point of the Freedom Festival, will kick off the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Plzeň on Saturday. The fanzone will open for fans at 12:30 pm. There will be combat equipment of the Army of the Czech Republic on display, which you will be able to crawl through and peek into places where an ordinary mortal would not normally look.

You can also see vehicles of the integrated rescue system and military police of the Army of the Czech Republic. There will also be a demonstration of close combat, which will be shown by trained professionals.
If you don´t want to cook on Saturday, we have two options for you. For the first thousand fans who show their tickets or passes, an army goulash awaits. Those who would like to enjoy a burger or get in the mood for Easter with Easter stuffing need only head to the classic Victorian fanzone, which, as always, can be found at the Fighters´ Gate Memorial Site.
The highlight awaits us inside the Doosan Arena. At 15:25, the accompanying programme in Štruncové sady will come to an end and we will move into the bowels of the stadium. Here the ceremony on the playing field will start at 15:45. The awarding of war veterans, the national anthem and a flyover by the Air Force of the Army of the Czech Republic.
