Two championship titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Conference League. And many other matches in which he always fought for the red and blue colors. Now, after less than nine years, Milan Havel is saying goodbye to Viktoria after the match against Porto and returning to Bohemians Prague 1905.

When he first stepped into Štruncovy sady in July 2017, he probably couldn´t have imagined everything he would experience in the Victorian jersey. He was part of two unforgettable championship titles and faced stars such as Sergio Ramos, Robert Lewandowski, and Marcelo in the Champions League. He also successfully played with the team in the Europa League and Conference League.

And when we add up all the league and domestic cup competitions, we get a total of 247 matches in the Victorian jersey. How symbolic, because Milan Havel wore the number 24 on his back throughout his time at our club. To that, we now add the lucky number seven.

"Milan Havel is one of those players who has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all fans and our entire club. He has experienced tremendous success with us, to which he has contributed greatly. Now, after almost nine years, we are saying goodbye to him, but he will always be an honorary guest at Doosan Arena, and we will always be happy to welcome him back. At the same time, we wish him continued success in his football career and as much happiness as possible in his personal life," said Adolf Šádek, chairman of the board and CEO of the club.

"They were wonderful years. I experienced everything a footballer could dream of. I want to thank everyone I met at the club. From the fans and players to the coaches, members of the management team, and Mr. Šádek, with whom I always had an excellent relationship. I will miss Viktorka, but that´s life in football. I wish the club continued success and I will always be happy to come back here," said the 31-year-old defender, who officially said goodbye after yesterday´s match against Porto.

"I would like to thank the fans for the wonderful farewell they prepared for me. The choreography was great, it´s just a shame we didn´t get the three points, but it was a tough game. I´m glad I was able to say goodbye right on the pitch in front of the fans who supported me throughout," added Milan Havel.
