Scholarships for talented students and grants for volunteer firefighters are among the areas supported by the CSG Foundation. Now the foundation is joining forces with Viktoria Plzeň, and its logo will appear on the club’s shirts.
The CSG Foundation is an institution established last year and is currently building its brand in order to more effectively fulfil its mission. Its main focus is providing grants to volunteer firefighters, scholarships for talented students from across the Czech Republic, as well as supporting socially beneficial projects initiated by employees of the CSG Group and helping those who find themselves in sudden financial hardship.
For example, in the Pilsen Region a total of 12 projects were supported through the 2025 Grant Call, with overall funding exceeding one million Czech crowns. Among the supported projects were both an individual talented student and the Secondary Industrial School of Transport in Plzeň, which used the funding to purchase teaching aids for its fire protection programme.
The CSG Foundation is now also linking its activities with the CSR initiatives of FC Viktoria Plzeň.
“It is an honour for us to join forces with the CSG Foundation. We really appreciate the work it does and see great potential in connecting our activities and building long-term cooperation. The club has a huge fan base, and we believe there are organisations and individuals within it whom we can reach together,” said the club’s COO Jaromír Hamouz.
“This partnership makes great sense for us. Our goal is to support Viktoria in the long term, the development of young talents within the academy, and at the same time give talented students or volunteer firefighters the opportunity to apply for scholarships or grants through the CSG Foundation. I believe this cooperation will be beneficial in every respect,” said club owner Michal Strnad.
The CSG Foundation logo will appear on Viktoria’s jerseys starting with Sunday’s league match against Bohemians Praha 1905 and will remain there for all matches until the end of the current season. From next season onwards, the logo will be placed on the front of the jerseys of all youth teams.

Viktoria Plzeň is very active in the area of CSR. The club has long cooperated with the Foundation for Bone Marrow Transplantation (NTKD), helping for nearly ten years to raise awareness and recruit donors for the registry. Another partner of the club in this area is the Tipsport Foundation, whose logo has been featured on the team’s jerseys during European matches since this season. In April, Viktoria’s league match against Teplice will be dedicated to a joint initiative with the Tipsport Foundation.
