The Viktorians are heading to Westendorf, Austria, today for a training camp, where they will fine-tune their form ahead of the start of the new season. During the ten-day camp, they will play three exciting preseason matches. They will face Copenhagen, Young Boys, and Zhytomyr in that order.

The team held its final training session on home turf this morning at Doosan Arena. They then traveled to Westendorf, Austria, where their training camp will begin on Sunday. At this traditional summer training destination, the Viktoria players will not only participate in training sessions but also play three preseason matches, which fans will be able to watch live.

Head coach Martin Hyský set off for the training camp with twenty-five players, including four goalkeepers. During the camp, players who represented their countries at the World Cup will join the squad. Unlike in the early days of summer training, Adam Novák from the club’s academy and Paul Nghabo, who was on trial at Viktoria, are no longer with the team. Also not part of the delegation are forward James Bello and goalkeeper Matyáš Šilhavý, whose futures are currently being discussed. Jan Paluska and Václav Jemelka remain in Plzeň as they continue their recovery from injuries.
