The anniversary clash at Doosan Arena offered a long, evenly balanced contest, with neither side able to break the deadlock in the first half. After the break, however, Pardubice struck from a quick counterattack to take the lead. Viktoria tried to respond to the setback, but their efforts were complicated by Doski’s red card, leaving the home side down to ten men. Despite late pressure, Plzeň were unable to find an equaliser.

The anniversary match at Doosan Arena was kicked off by the visitors. As early as the second minute, Touré got on the end of a cross, but his effort was off target and resulted in a goal kick. In the 13th minute, Pardubice threatened, but Spáčil made a last-ditch intervention to stop the attack. From the resulting corner, the visitors created another chance, but the alert Wiegele dealt with the header. Pardubice remained active, and in the 18th minute Wiegele had to make another save from a dangerous shot. Both teams struggled to break through well-organised defensive blocks. Viktoria mainly threatened with crosses into the box, but the visitors’ defence managed to clear them away. In the 34th minute, Souaré tested the visiting goalkeeper, who pushed his shot away with difficulty. Four minutes later, Pardubice had another opportunity, but their effort from a cross on the left went over the bar. Nothing significant happened for the remainder of the first half, and the teams went into the break goalless.

The home side started the second half actively. Krčík tried his luck from distance, but failed to hit the target cleanly. In the 52nd minute, Višinský beat his defender nicely, though his cross found no teammate. In the 61st minute, Ladra tested the goalkeeper, who dealt with his attempt. Pardubice took the lead in the 71st minute after striking on the counterattack. In the 79th minute, Ladra tried again from range, but missed the target. Two minutes later, the home side suffered a setback – Doski handled the ball and was sent off, leaving Viktoria down to ten men. Even with a man down, the hosts pushed for an equaliser, but their crosses mostly ended in the goalkeeper’s gloves. Viktoria were ultimately unable to level the score and fell to defeat against Pardubice.
