Viktoria secured a 3–0 victory away to Artis Brno in Matchday 7 of the Chance Liga. Amar Memić, Cheick Souaré and Lukáš Červ scored all three goals in the first half. Denis Vavro and Tobiáš Pališčák made their competitive debuts for the club.

The home side kicked off the Matchday 7 encounter in the Chance Liga. Ndiaye was the first to threaten, but his acrobatic effort from the edge of the box went wide. Denis Vavro marked his debut with a perfectly timed challenge to deny the opposition a chance. In the seventh minute, Memić collected a loose ball following a corner and tested Stoppen. Three minutes later, Souaré met a cross after a move finished by Adu, but Stoppen produced a fine save. Adu then tried his luck again, but the home goalkeeper was once more equal to his effort. The score therefore remained goalless after 16 minutes. Artis threatened with a cross from the flank in the 20th minute. Wiegele got a hand to the ball but could only push it back into the danger area. Fortunately for Viktoria, Dweh was in the right place to clear it to safety. Three minutes later, Plzeň produced a well-worked set piece. Souaré left the ball for Červ before receiving a lovely pass in behind the defence and shooting from a tight angle, but Stoppen was alert once again. Viktoria came up with another clever routine on the half-hour mark. Souaré found Memić, who fired past the goalkeeper to put his team ahead.

The hosts responded in the 37th minute, but the offside flag was immediately raised and the goal was ruled out. Dominik Preisler found the net two minutes later, but following a VAR review, a foul on Doski was awarded and this goal was also disallowed. Plzeň struck at the other end moments later through Souaré. Červ then capitalised on a mistake by the home goalkeeper and finished into an empty net to deal Artis another heavy blow. Memić had one more opportunity inside the box in stoppage time, but failed to connect cleanly with his shot. Viktoria therefore went into the break with a three-goal lead.

Wiegele produced an excellent save in the 49th minute to deny the hosts a clear-cut opportunity. Four minutes later, Ndiaye headed wide. Tobiáš Pališčák also entered the action to make his debut in a Plzeň shirt. The remainder of the second half was largely a physical affair with plenty of challenges and fewer chances, but Plzeň remained in control. Višinský found himself in a promising shooting position in the 72nd minute, but his effort struck an Artis defender. The hosts tried to breach Viktoria’s defence with long balls, but the Plzeň back line stood firm and cleared most of them to safety. Višinský battled his way into another shooting position late on, only for an opponent to nick the ball away at the final moment. No further chances followed and Viktoria secured a 3–0 victory over Artis at Srbská.
