Twenty-four-year-old Liberian defender Sampson Dweh has extended his contract with Viktoria Plzeň until 2029.
Sampson Dweh arrived in Plzeň in the summer of 2023, initially for trials, which, thanks to his excellent performances, turned into a one-year loan with an option to buy. The club subsequently decided to exercise the option and signed a permanent contract with the player. Viktoria has now agreed to extend the cooperation until 2029.
During his time in the red and blue jersey, the Liberian center back played 115 games, 36 of which were in European competitions. He has seven goals and seven assists to his name.

"Sampson Dweh has made incredible progress with us in two years. He is an important part of our defense, repeatedly proving his quality both in domestic competition and on the European stage. He has our full confidence, which is reflected in the extension of his contract until 2029," said club sporting director Daniel Kolář.
"I am happy at Viktoria and I appreciate the trust the club has placed in me. I will do my utmost for our mutual success," added Sampson Dweh.
