Talented footballers Jan Paluska and Jiří Maxim Panoš signed new contracts with Viktoria Plzeň until 2029. This took place during a training camp in Benidorm, Spain.
Great news for all Viktoria fans comes from Benidorm. Eighteen-year-old midfielder Jiří Maxim Panoš and twenty-year-old defender Jan Paluska have committed their future to the red and blue jersey. Both have signed new contracts with Viktoria until 2029.
"Both players share the same story. They came through the club´s academy and earned their place in the first team through their performances, proving themselves worthy of a spot. What´s more, they are members of the youth national teams. Their journey should serve as an example and a clear message to other talented young footballers. If they work hard, they will definitely get their chance," said the club´s sporting director Martin Vozábal.

"I am glad that they will continue to be an integral part of the club in the coming years. Our common goal is for them to continue to grow in performance and assert themselves both domestically and on the European stage," added the sporting director.
"I appreciate the trust the club has placed in me. Wearing the Viktoria jersey has always been my dream, and now it has come true. Now it´s up to me to work hard and be as useful to the team as possible," said Jiří Maxim Panoš after signing his new contract. On Friday, he was voted the best Czech youth player of the year for the second time in a row.
"Of course, I was very happy about that. But the main thing for me now is that I am 100% healthy and can go through the entire preparation with the team for the demanding spring ahead of us. The autumn break was long for me, so I am all the more excited for the start of the second half of the season," added the 18-year-old talent.

"Thanks to Viktoria, I got the chance to get my first taste of big-time soccer. Every match is a celebration for me, whether it´s in the league or in European cup competitions. I try to do everything I can every day to improve, and I´m glad that we quickly agreed on a new contract with the club," added Jan Paluska.
Both talented Viktoria players are currently training under the supervision of Martin Hyský. "It´s demanding, but it´s all on the pitch. I enjoy it a lot, and we´re focusing everything on the match against Porto, which I consider a stellar opponent, and I´m really looking forward to such a confrontation," said Jiří Maxim Panoš. "The start of spring will be very intense, but that´s exactly why we´re doing this. We have to be perfectly prepared, and together with our fans, we will do everything we can to succeed and take the final step towards advancing in the Europa League," concluded Jan Paluska about the match, which will take place at Doosan Arena on January 22, when the famous Portuguese opponent arrives in Plzeň.
