Skautingové oddělení FC Viktoria Plzeň pod vedením Jana Říčky se rozšiřuje o Jiřího Krejčího, který povede analytický úsek se zaměřením na datovou analýzu.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jiří Krejčí has had a very rich football career. He played for clubs such as Blšany, Most, Jablonec, Příbram, and Jihlava, and abroad he wore the jerseys of Iraklis Thessaloniki, Timișoara, and Pécsi in Hungary. He ended his career in 2020 in Slovácko with a record of 263 league games and 9 goals.

While still playing, he studied at the University of Economics in Prague, where he successfully completed his engineering studies. He then expanded his education with a follow-up study in Data & Business, also at the University of Economics, which he completed with an MBA degree. He then devoted himself to scouting at the league level and for the past two years has worked at a player agency, where he focused on talent scouting and development.

He will now head Viktoria´s analytical department, which falls under the renowned expert Jan Říčka as head of the entire club´s scouting.

"I am glad that I could become part of Viktoria Plzeň. We have big goals ahead of us and I look forward to working with all my colleagues," said Jiří Krejčí.

"This is a great addition to our team in this area, and I am glad that Jirka immediately got to work with his colleagues. As we have announced, our goal is to build the club in all areas, and data analysis is one of them," said Adolf Šádek, chairman of the board and CEO of the club.
