Viktoria Plzeň ended the 2025 calendar year with a victory. They won 2-0 at home against Dukla Prague, with goals from Rafiu Durosinmi and Václav Jemelka.

On the third Sunday of Advent, Viktoria Plzeň welcomed Prague's Dukla in the last match of the year. The visitors won the coin toss and got the ball first. However, Viktoria pressed hard from the start and tried to control the game.

In the 8th minute, Svetozar Marković had to leave the field due to shoulder problems and was replaced by Sampson Dweh. Tomáš Ladra had the first serious chance of the match. He brought the ball into the penalty area on the left side and sent a low shot to the far post, but goalkeeper Richards Matrevics did not let the ball past him. A moment later, Prince Adu broke away on the same side and looked for Rafia Durosinmi in the penalty area. Durosinmi got to the ball after a few rebounds, but failed to finish into the open goal.

Viktoria continued to occupy the visitors' penalty area. After one of the corner kicks, Lukáš Červ tested the goalkeeper's attention with a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but his attempt did not result in a goal either. Doosan Arena had to wait until the 41st minute for a goal celebration. Rafiu Durosinmi expertly held the ball with his back to the goal, turned, and opened the scoring with a precise shot. The home team went into the locker room happier, leading 1-0.

In the second half, Durosinmi could have added a second goal. He managed to dribble past the goalkeeper and then headed the ball, but from too sharp an angle, he only hit the post. In the 60th minute, Florian Wiegele had to intervene on the other side, dealing with a shot that passed through a dense crowd of players in front of him and keeping a clean sheet. Five minutes later, the home fans finally had something else to cheer about when Václav Jemelka finished the ball at the right moment in the right place and increased the lead to 2-0.

Viktoria scored again when Rafiu Durosinmi scored his second goal of the match. However, his joy was thwarted by VAR, which disallowed the goal due to offside. Nevertheless, the home team did not allow Dukla any major chances and secured the victory and a clean sheet with an experienced performance. Viktoria Plzeň thus ended 2025 with a 2-0 win.
